Allen joined S.S. Nesbitt in 2017 to develop new programs, technologies and processes for SSN’s commercial insurance sales program. He develops strategy and leads the implementation of new and unique insurance products geared towards solving complicated risk and compliance issues.
As a nationally recognized producer, he mentors SSN’s up-and-coming young sales talent not only to achieve success collaboratively, but to serve clients with a white-glove approach, as an insights-driven consultative partner. His vision is to see our sales team develop beyond just their industry success. He looks to cultivate producers who have a desire to provide insurance service at a high level, while also developing their personal character at an equally high level.
Prior to coming on board, Allen spent six years with HUB International’s Tulsa, Okla. office. He worked as an executive risk consultant in the North America Energy & Marine division. Allen and his team’s exceptional track record earned Allen the SHARP award, an annual award for the top 10 percent of producers of new business and retention, four times.
At HUB, he also represented the Mid-America region on the HUB U.S.-Canada Cross Border “HUB Advantage” team where he focused on the international insurance challenge of businesses who operate globally.
Before HUB, Allen worked as an account executive in Construction Risk Services at McGriff, Seibels & Williams. He also spent three years with Molton, Allen & Williams.
Originally from Georgia, Allen graduated from Valdosta State University, where he attended on a baseball scholarship. He and his wife Emily, who grew up in the Birmingham area, have 4 strapping young boys.
