Attorney Tracy Leeth joins S.S. Nesbitt as senior benefits compliance consultant, and Tim Rogers joins as safety manager and loss control specialist.

Tracy Leeth, J.D., CEBS: Benefits Compliance

Tracy joins SSN with nearly 17 years of legal experience in benefits compliance.

As senior benefits compliance consultant, Tracy successfully navigates clients through highly complex compliance regulations. She facilitates compliance administration and provides solutions and resources to our clients, as well as informs clients of all important changes or deadlines.

“In the modern Affordable Care Act (ACA) era, companies trust their benefits partners to supply expert guidance and advice surrounding government-mandated compliance requirements,” says Cooper Johnson, SSN benefits practice leader. “Tracy brings a breadth of compliance experience that will effectuate best practices standards for all SSN clients.”

Tracy spent the past seven years managing compliance at Cobbs Allen, a Birmingham, Alabama, insurance agency. Before that, she worked with Molton, Allen & Williams as a consultative advisor and marketing account executive, and earlier served as senior employee benefits consultant with Mercer (a Marsh & McLennan company) in San Diego, transitioning there after March & McLennan acquired Johnson & Higgins.

Tracy began her career in benefits compliance in Washington, D.C., as a senior employee benefits analyst/consultant with Johnson & Higgins — at the time one of the largest brokerage firms in the world.

She is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law and a member of the Alabama and District of Columbia bar associations.  She continues to serve on the board of the Birmingham Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.

 

Tim Rogers: Safety/Loss Control

As safety manager/loss control specialist at SSN, Tim ensures our clients’ facilities and safety programs meet or exceed federal standards set by organizations such as OSHA, DOT and EPA.

“Tim’s experience in the safety and loss control space for mid to large companies is top-notch,” says Phillip Moultrie, vice president of client services for SSN. “We’re committed to providing our clients with a portfolio of business services that go beyond insurance placement, and having an in-house safety and loss control expert on staff is yet another way we provide responsive, white-glove service.”

Prior to SSN, Tim spent 12 years with Community Newspaper Holdings (recently acquired by Raycom), where he served as senior vice president of risk management and safety, handling risk management, safety, production and real estate matters for 120 locations in 23 states.

Before that, Tim managed safety efforts for Bruno’s Supermarkets, with over 168 retail grocery stores, and earlier served as vice president of operations, safety and transportation for RPM Installations, a steel and specialty metal fabrication and construction company.
