Bobby joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co. in 2007. An 18-year veteran in the risk management and insurance profession, Bobby works primarily in the manufacturing, contracting and industrial disciplines. He specializes in the larger, higher hazard risks where innovative solutions are required. One of Bobby’s strengths is working with clients to properly assess and allocate their cost of risk among departments or across operating divisions.
J.D. joined S.S. Nesbitt in 2008 with three years of experience in banking and money management. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Communications. As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, J.D. specializes in commercial Property and Casualty Insurance for middle market to large market clientele. His goal is to function in the capacity of an outsourced risk manager.
Paul joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co., Inc. with the acquisition of Independent Insurance Agents. Paul has a total of 30+ years experience in personal and commercial insurance, 20 years as the owner of Copper Insurance Agency and 10 years as the owner of Independent Insurance Agents. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he majored in computer science and is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent. As a member of the SSN sales team, Paul and his professional customer service team now offer expanded products and services, while representing the same high quality insurance companies to which their clients are accustomed.
After graduating from East Tennessee State University, Ron joined a large insurance company where he served for 15 years in several management positions. His last position was resident vice president and general manager of the Cincinnati Service Office and president of a company subsidiary based in Ohio. The office provided underwriting, marketing, loss control, claims service and policy processing for 285 independent insurance agencies in Ohio and Kentucky, both with written premiums of over $225 million. In previous years, Ron has served in management, marketing and sales. Ron is active in community service in Decatur, Ala. He has served as president and board member for the Decatur Rotary Club, chairman of the Decatur Education Foundation and chairman of the Decatur Incubator Board. He is also involved with numerous other local service organizations including the Chamber of Commerce. 
Tim Jones joined S.S. Nesbitt in August 2006, following the acquisition of LMJ Corporation. He brings more than 20 years experience and an excellent reputation to S.S. Nesbitt. Tim is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a master’s degree in Economics. As a founder of LMJ in 1996, Jones helped grow the company from less than $250,000 in sales its first year to more than $5 million in sales with more than 300 clients. At S.S. Nesbitt, Tim will focus on business development and maintaining customer satisfaction through superior service. His experience and reputation have earned him the confidence and loyalty of his clients.
Winn joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co. in 2002. He has over 26 years of experience working with clients in construction and manufacturing. As a producer for S.S. Nesbitt, Winn's primary responsibilities are business development and maintaining customer satisfaction through superior service. Winn creates comprehensive insurance programs addressing all lines of risk for his clients. Because of his active participation in monitoring and servicing his accounts, Winn's clients are confident and loyal, which is evidenced by the many long-term relationships he enjoys. Winn is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned a degree in insurance/finance. 
Jeremy joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co. in 2004. As a Commercial
Lines Broker, his primary duty is developing business within
the mid-size commercial property and casualty market.
He is a graduate of Auburn University and a licensed
Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist. Jeremy is committed
to building long-term relationships with his clients by
exceeding their expectations with quality insurance products
and superior customer service. In addition to property and
casualty sales, he enjoys educating clients and prospects
through informational risk management seminars for various
industries.
Bill is senior vice president and a founding principal of S.S. Nesbitt & Co. He actively serves clients in claim/litigation management and safety. Bill gained 19 of his 25 years of experience while working with two major commercial insurers. He held various management positions within those two organizations, serving his clients as multi-line field claim representative, litigation specialist, claim supervisor, claim manager and major account coordinator. Bill's years of experience within the corporate insurance arena allow him to effectively and proactively represent S.S. Nesbitt's clients. Through claims analysis, litigation and managing safety exposures, Bill is able to reduce the ultimate cost of insurance for his clients. His proactive approach in defense of adversity translates into dollars saved. 
Dan joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co. Inc. in 2007, with the acquisition of ANB Insurance Services. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. He spent four years serving in the United States Army and was ranked captain, infantry officer combat support company commander. Dan has 34+ years experience in the insurance industry and his expertise ranges from personal life and health to commercial property and casualty. He specializes in municipalities and is one of the leading sales executive at S.S. Nesbitt. 
Brad joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co., Inc. in 2008 as a senior vice president. A 17-year veteran in risk management consulting and insurance, Brad specializes in offering risk management solutions to the healthcare industry, international concerns, Owner-Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP’s) and difficult to place insurance risks. Brad’s strength is consulting with clients to properly assess their total cost of risk and developing comprehensive risk management programs to address those risks.
Pat joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co., Inc. with the acquisition of Independent Insurance Agents (IIA). Pat has 36 years experience in personal and commercial insurance. He attended Auburn University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Math. Over the years, Pat has been responsible for many different agency management activities, including maintenance of various house accounts, new business production, computer updates and the overall agency operation and personnel. He is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent and has also achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. As part of the SSN sales team, Pat will continue to maintain the accounts of IIA’s valued customers as well as contribute to the success of the agency by applying his administrative and sales expertise.
Joe joined S. S. Nesbitt in 2007. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, both on the company and agency side. Joe has developed strong relationships with his clients, both professionally and personally. He has served a number of clients for over 20 years, and has been fortunate to watch many of them grow from small family-owned operations into large, successful corporations. Joe also specializes in public entity risks, writing policies for various county and municipal governments throughout Alabama.
Todd began his insurance career in 2001 as a producer and earned his CIC designation in 2005. Todd holds a degree from Auburn University in Landscape Design with a concentration in Business Management and spent four years building a large landscape construction company. This background led him to
focus his insurance career in construction and artisan contractors as well as apartment complexes. Todd attended the State Auto Insurance Producer School’s
one-year pacesetter program and graduated second in a class of 75. He has served as chair and representative for legislative issues in Montgomery and Washington for the Independent Agents Association for the past three years. 
Melody joined ANB Insurance in March 2002 and became part of S.S. Nesbitt when it acquired ANB in 2007. She holds an associate’s degree in finance administration from Jefferson State Community College and has earned her CISR insurance designation. Melody specializes in serving individuals with high net worth; professional liability for attorneys, architects and engineering firms; along with small to mid-size commercial businesses. 
Selina is vice president of S.S. Nesbitt & Co., Inc. and a founding principal of the agency, with over 20 years of experience in personal and commercial insurance. As account manager, more than half of Selina's career has been devoted to meeting the insurance needs of the large commercial client. She specializes in coverage for student-occupied residential facilities, where she remains focused on developing innovative, cost effective, risk management solutions for college and university dormitories and apartment communities. Selina's extensive experience in this area also allows her to act as an independent insurance consultant to the owners of these unique facilities. Selina is a valuable resource to S.S. Nesbitt clients. Her extensive knowledge and experience help address the important details associated with securing insurance coverage, which minimizes our clients' risk of exposure. 
Judson joined S.S. Nesbitt & Co., Inc. in 2008. With 18 years experience in underwriting and production, Judson is uniquely qualified to service the risk management needs of S.S. Nesbitt’s large commercial clients. Since 1996, his focus has been in healthcare, real estate, aviation and manufacturing. Judson will work closely with several members of the agency’s student housing and habitational departments. As a seasoned producer, he will contribute to the agency’s presence as a leader within this high-risk sector. Judson is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he majored in insurance and finance and received the Edward Lowder Outstanding Insurance Student Award. 
Gordon has over 31 years of experience working with clients in mining, manufacturing and retail. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of business administration in marketing. As a producer and vice president for S.S. Nesbitt, Gordon is responsible for business development and
maintaining customer satisfaction through superior service. Ten years of individual, business and group life insurance sales, before moving into commercial insurance, provide Gordon with a unique ability to service the needs of clients. Several of his clients have coined the phrase, “When you think insurance, think Gordo.”
Scott Weaver has been a commercial insurance executive since 2002. In May 2007, Scott joined S.S. Nesbitt through the acquisition of ANB Insurance Services. He graduated from Auburn University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and was a member of Auburn’s golf team. Scott specializes in commercial property and casualty insurance for any risk ranging from manufacturing to government contracting.
